Do you usually check in with a candidate before an interview? Do they ever get a second chance to interview when they miss one?

For the most part, we send short e-mails out confirming interview timings with the candidates involved. This is done to ensure everyone has understanding on whatever is happening. Well if someone misses an interview without cause, we do feel bad about it and at the same time know how sometimes things may go wrong. Whenever they have genuine excuses plus interest in proceeding with the process again, we can adjust our schedule within a limit but in some cases due to restrictions time does not permit.
